About Us

Founded in 1992 and based in Blackburn, Mill Hill FC has established itself as a thriving community amateur sports club.

Historically, the club has managed three competing senior teams and a diversity team.  Our competitive sides play in local and wider Lancashire leagues.  Our diversity team provides an outlet for people with varying disabilities to engage in sporting and other social activities, as part of our PSV members’ initiative.

For the season 2020/21, the club will be represented for the first time with its own U18 team in favour of our local league senior side.  The two Saturday sides will merge into one team competing in the East Lancashire League.  This recent adjustment to our footballing family will prove a great stepping stone for developing our local young talent, providing a pathway to open age football for these youngsters.  For the young player seeking to develop his game further, our restructure can provide a springboard into higher levels, as we look to extend our links with clubs from the wider region, playing in the North West Counties and Northern Premier League competitions.

Two stalwarts have continued at the heart of the club throughout its lifetime – Graham Shackleton and Pete Fryer.  Their dedication and commitment have been the foundations on which the club has been built.  Both have been recognised for their efforts, with Graham collecting a lifetime achievement from Blackburn with Darwen Council and Pete receiving recognition from Lancashire FA for services to club and community.  Continually changing and developing the face of the football club is at the centre of what they do.  Backed by a loyal set of Executive Committee members, the club continues to make great strides, on and off the field.

Pride – Loyalty – Passion… our values that bond the club and community it serves, to create a better everyday for all that come into contact with the Mill Hill FC brand.
