Roll of Honours

On-field Success from the Outset

Mill Hill FC has a solid tradition for collecting silverware.  Since its inception trophies have continued to flow – season upon season.  In its formative years, competing under sponsor names of Vauxhall; Young’s Construction and Kings Inn, the club has succeeded in the local Blackburn Sunday Football League, building a strong reputation across the town and beyond.

Sunday Team

Across Lancashire our Sunday representative teams have, over the years, gained a respect for being tough opponents playing an attacking style.  The coveted Lancashire FA Sunday Trophy has been won on two separate occasions, with multiple semi-final appearances.

Saturday Team

Following a period of sustained achievements, a Saturday team was established to compete in the town’s local league.  This followed later with a successful application to compete further across East Lancashire.  With its roots firmly in Mill Hill, a 5-year improvement plan has recently started for developing the Select Medical Ground at Griffin Park and restructuring the playing side.  Although the current 98m x 58m pitch size does not quite meeting the FA’s requirement for Step 6 clubs playing surfaces, we aim to plough ahead and provide a more welcoming facility that serves to meet the needs of our local and wider following.
